HelpBuddy

HelpBuddy is a mobile app jointly developed by the Singapore Management University (SMU) and the Municipal Services Office (MSO) that aims to encourage residents to take ownership of their living environment, facilitate volunteerism and community participation.

The app would recommend activities to users based on user’s preferences, task history and physical proximity to activity’s location. The data collated would help to support behavioural research and allow SMU researchers and Government agencies to understand the users’ attitudes and behaviours towards this new concept.
